New cell phone?

I can go to either Verizon or AT&T. My parents have AT&T and I can go on their plan, or I can stick with Verizon. Or maybe another carrier?

Not sure of what phone to get. Not too good with technology and I dont keep up on the newest gadgets. Id like something touch screen, and something thats easy to test on.

Ideas?

Those are around $200. I was looking at the AT&T site, and they have refurbed Iphones 3G for $50. You cant beat that. Would the refurbed 3GS be worth an extra $100? I dont see the difference being that big, right? I dont even know what the difference is.

x2 i had both companies and verizon that network literally follows you around never out of service unless im in the middle of no where. I text a lot so I got the En V touch and couldnt be happier with the phone. I like the I phone but not with that company.

x2, my Versa does well for me too....I wanted to pick up a new phone this past summer before I got the Versa with WiFi, however, the mobile broswer on the Versa is faster than I though, I regular view this site at work from it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Been with Verizon for the last 6 years, no suprises, unexpected cost, or anything like that.

At&t is a good company, and the iPhone is a nice unit too. Hard choice..

Well I live in Tampa, so its a decent sized city with alot of cell towers. Anywhere has good reception except my parents house in New Port Richey, where its a total deadzone and there is horrible reception with ANY carrier.

Im really looking to spend $150 or under... The cheaper the better. The Iphone 3GS 16gb is $200, and the regular Iphone 3G 8gb is $100. Would the extra 8GB and S be worth $100?

Whats the difference between 3G and 3GS?
