Alright, just wondering what ya'll would get if you were to be spending $8,000 on your vehicle. I want an emphasis on low mileage, but other than that I do not care at all. Any suggestions?

yeah... the problem with the mid 95 bmw's is that you can rarely find one that has good mileage. At least in the price range I am in... Hadn't even thought about maximas, I will look into those...

I am planning on doing a lot of test driving, but I am not the type of person to just go out and test drive random vehicles, I like to have an idea of what I am looking for...

The purpose behind asking is so that you can see what other people have to say, and being able to include vehicles that you would not have otherwise thought to look at without asking...

Honestly your best bet might be find some cars local on ebay from you and ask to go take a test drive. See what you like etc.. if you got to a dealer chances are there going to talk you into a car that is more expensive then you are looking to spend and get you to buy it there. I was looking into becoming a salesman. I just dont have the will to screw people over like that. It will take like 1 hr to read but tells you how a guy for a newspaper company or somethign went in and got a job and how all the tricks they do to get you to sell cars. It was very interesting. I read this after i had a interview at one place. Went to 2 other places told them what they like to hear ( what i read in the artical) Instanly the gave me the job at both places but i turned them down I just wanted to see if that would work lol. Just tell them you want to make lots of money and dont care what you do or how you do it to get it.

Test drive as many vehicles you can that meet your criteria and choose the one you like best ...

X2 probably the best way to do it. i worked at a car dealership for a while and thats what i would do. but dont get all caught up in the whole new car thing and try to remember what you do and dont like about all you may want to even write it down

They pretty much said they'd rather have a car that has been driven more and well maintained than a car that has just sat somewhere for a year without proper care.

Parts are enough and if you're gonna pay a mechanic full price than I wouldn't recommend it. Insurance is also a ***** for an 18 year old, I know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Don't know where you live, but you can find one with under 120k for about 7k.
