so you're saying 600 for 2 pair of speakers?Ok, now If I wanted to spend all of my money on it, I could afford that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Lets say I only have $600 to replace all 4 speakers, and amp them from the 3sixty (do not include the cost of the 3sixty in the 600)

Plus, ditch the capacitor, box, and subs. Keep the amp and wiring and get a different single subwoofer. Build an enclosure out of 0.5" birch plywood and retain 90% of the strength of 0.75" MDF and have 40% less weight (let alone a smaller box so it affords you more hatch/trunk space). Subwoofers have come a long way in the past few years and there are a lot of smaller, lighter, offerings that will provide equal/more SPL than you currently have with a much smaller enclosure. Not to mention the sound quality that some of them have to offer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I read this wrong....600 will have to include an ampOk, now If I wanted to spend all of my money on it, I could afford that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Lets say I only have $600 to replace all 4 speakers, and amp them from the 3sixty (do not include the cost of the 3sixty in the 600)
1. I'd say build one yourself... run you about $25-40 in MDF and materials. Unless you're wanting a custom form-fitting fiberglass box and you have no fiberglassing experience.1. Can someone recommend a decent box?
2. I am correct in understanding that I can use my current amp for the sub, and the one you listed for the speakers? I see is is a 5 channel amp, so I am guessing it is an all-in one solution?
3. Also, what If I double my budget? Lets say $1400 including the 3sixty and everything I would need.
Ask for credentials. Most respectable shops keep a portfolio of past projects and work performed. Also, where is a good place to get this stuff installed? I have this place near me called 816 audio and wheels, but I am not sure if they are any good. They did a great job tinting the windows, but I am not sure about the audio work.
