Hi,

I need recommendations for a component system ( 2 fronts,2 tweets, 2 Crossovers )

not less than a SUPERB Head Unit, something that will give me maximum control on the EQ ( I don't need DVD, I don't use that shit )

one kick *** sub ( I need an accurate sub not a sloppy one )

and an Amplifier who could handle all of this stuff and give me a MAX music quality.

I listen to Rock,blues,ambient music.

My idea for component was this option

for sub-woofer, my thoughts went on that thing

any other ideas ?

thanks in advance.

I have experience with most of those items and they're all nice and will definately give you nice sound quality.

I don't feel like checking on all those links Beerdrinker listed, so will just tell you, what I think.

Deck, check for a good used one in the classifieds. I am sure you could find all your needs there, depending if any are for sale. If not and want a brand new one, then I like the Kenwood decks. Usually can find one for under 200 smacks that is 4v plus, which is always nice. I love my Pioneer deck and a lot of Pioneer decks, but I always seem to run into the engine whine noise with them. I ended up blowing my pitco fuse in my 880 prs I believe.

For componets, if you are on a budget, the Rsd 6.5 Phoenix Gold set is nice. Can be had on audiosavings for under 100 smacks shipped. I believe 85 out the door. I really want to try out the TSC Pioneer set, which that and the bigger brother the Premier line have had stellar reviews. Range from I believe 150-250, depending on which line you get.

Sub- I can't wait to get my hands on a new Stereo Integrity Mag 12 d2. SI is an internet brand, but very well respected and people loved their older Magnum, but this new one is supposed to outshine it. Don't need a lot of power to get it loud, should suffice on 600rms, but is a 1000rms sub. So have plenty of room for power upgrade. They run 250 shipped and will be out with in a few weeks I believe. Check out Stereointegrity.com and hit up the forums there. They also have a nice shallow sub in the SI BM, which will be nice as well.

For amp, I recommed what I have, which is an Autotek 750.1. Does all that and a little more. Would match up really well for that Mag.

By the way the Mag 12 only takes a 1.0cft box and recommend sealed. Actually don't won't you to go ported. So saves space, while getting loud and sounding good.

I'm not sure about the Pioneer. my Pioneer playes my music very "muddy".

if there's a high end head unit, I prefer that. my budget for head unit is 500$ tops.

Boston Acoustics are that bad ?

what about the MB-Quart sub that I mentioned ?

Believe me, the Pioneer 800prs is a real nice deck. So nice, I had to buy one for myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Not sure about the new mb quart subs but the older subs before maxxonics were pretty nice. I'm actually running 3 12" pwe-302's....Nothing wrong with the boston acoustic comps either, I was just giving other options for you.

and I thank you for that.

the amp you linked me,is he capable handling the Sub and front speakers ?

I don't wanna loose any power nor quality.

Yeah, it's a 5ch. so it'll run front, rear, and sub speakers. I got my dad a similar setup and he's really enjoying it. That sub I linked you too sounds really tight and accurate as well.

if your getting a 800prs or look into the alpine cda-9887. you can piece your components together and run them active, ditch your rear stage, unless you wanna keep it (run it off the headunit power) and use the 5 channel amp. 2 to the mids, 2 to the tweets, and the sub channel... duh. i went with the mach 5 mli-65 mids and the seas neo textile tweets... heard really good things about both... the tweets were had for $72 a pair as well as the mids for $72 pair. also heard good things about the vifa/peerless tweets, even the dayton np28f's... they can be had on partsexpress for hella cheap. went with 2 dayton ho 10s for my sub stage, heard they were really good response, tight and very good sound quality... can be had for something like $120ish. anyways, also check out the new eclipse 7200mkii headunit... i think its in the $500 range, its the new "deadhead" and suppossbly hard to beat SQ wise. anyways, goodluck
