JUST WANTED TO GET SOME INPUT FROM YOU GUYS ON HERE WHO LIKE TO COMPETE.

For the Love of Bass.

FLB SPL league is a new form of car audio competition that is to begin in 2012. This new format is to take all the pros and cons of all the other formats in existence today and combine them, along with new ideas to create a whole new breed of competing.

FLB was created to bring life back into the competition scene. To spark the interests not only in new competitors who have never been to a show, but bring back the men and woman who started these leagues many years ago. The ones who have lost interest in the sport. The ones who feel that the sport has died and that no one cares what they think, believe, or even care of in this great sport.

The reason for the name is just that. For the Love of Bass! For the ones who do it because they enjoy it, they take pride in not only their vehicle and system but each competitor they go up against. The ones that keep them on their toes and keep the challenge going. What's a competition without a challenge? What is a event without the suspense of the final outcome? Competing isn't just about winning, it's about the tiebreakers, and it's about losing too. Knowing that there is work to be done and things to improve on. Things that keep everyone doing what they Love.

Now for the really good part.

FLB was also created to give back. Give back to the ones who make it all happen. Without competitors there is no event to even take place. Without the competitors who put all the time and effort into their builds. FLB wants to be there for the ones who make it all happen, the ones who contribute the hours in drive time, set up, the event, tear down, and head home to start again for the very next show.

FLB is not only going to recognize their winners in points and in certificates and awards, but in CASH, yes Real Cash. The same thing you put into your build, and into the admissions to the events and everything along the way to be a competitor.

If you are a veteran competitor, look at all the trophies you have lined on shelves or in the garage or even shoved in boxes and put away.

Now besides the proof of winning, what does that tall weighted plastic do for you?

Does it buy the next battery to help power your setup?

Does it re-cone your subwoofers when they have reached their limits?

Do they help with fuel cost to get to the next show?

Now if you are new to the competition scene then this goes for you too. Think of all the time and money invested in your build. Now think of how great it would be to start winning money back to recover the investment you built. And continue a long and great contribution to a great sport.

The point to this is everyone loves to be awarded for their accomplishments and something to take pride in. But how about a award that pays you back, that keeps the ball rolling and the make you come back for more.

FLB will be awarding the winner in every class Cash Prizes. A percentage of each competitors entry fee in the class will go towards a pot for the winner. Now the more competitors in each class, the bigger the prize amount can be. With no limits to the amount you can win.

There will also be a skilled event at every FLB show that is not won by the one with the best and loudest system. But the one who is skilled at controlling their system the best.

FLB will create all new classes and all new rules bases on who and what matters, The competitors. All members of FLB will have a say in rules and can all come together to add or remove a part of the events that will create a better overall outcome for the events themselves and all competitors involved. Rules and classes are decided on and voted on by any current members who would like to be involved.

FLB will begin events in 2012

FLB events will start in Northwest Ohio, and travel all over the state and sister states in the area. Hosting a min of 2 shows a month during the beginning of its release and continue to grow more and more. FLB would love to go national, but in time. Great things take time and great things need time to become just that.

FLB events will be judged by official FLB certified judges. All events can be held at host locations by Teams, Shops, Organizations, Car Shows, and much more. All the above can hire an official FLB judge to put on a event in their area and become a certified show for competitors to come from all around to compete for bragging rights, certified scores and of course CASH!

THERE IS ALOT MORE INFO ABOUT THIS NEW FORMAT. BUT BECAUSE I AM NEW TO THIS FORUM IM NOT TRYING TO COME IN HERE AND DROP LINKS TO IT ALL. YOU CAN POST A QUESTION HERE OR PM ME.

THANKS

Im kinda lost on exaclty what we will be doing to compete? and were will the db measurer or is this based on something completely different.
