In most cases I would agree, but i think he will be fine in this setup. I would try to squeeze like 16ft3 but 14 is a decent starting point.

My last one was right at 18 cubes, now I am at 14 hopefully for a little better power handling. And it gives me more room to move the box around for testing distances for loading off the rear, and room for more batteries.

It will get down low, but not much else I don't think. I think the roll off will come on early at higher hz levels..just a guess though, I'm not on the pc to verify that.
