I recently built a new box for some 12's. its a sealed box. the old one was leaking and mounting holes were worn out. so finally finished i put the subs in, wired them parallel, for a 2 ohm load. to my saz 2000d. (random bazooka subs, gain only half way ish.)

when i hook the subs up individually, still in box they sound amazing. then when i hook up the pair, they move but sounds like the cancel eachother, or possibly move in opposite directions.. what did i do wrong? im about to take them out and re-double check lol...

im just worked it could be maybe something wrong with the box, because they worked very well before. maybe the center divider is leaking? duno if thats possible or not

thanks

kyle

thats the only thing i can think of. but wouldn't it have made a big difference in sound? i hooked each up separately, and they sounded ok. just when together. is there any such thing as sound canceling if each chamber in the box isn't EXACTLY the same? and because its my first id believe they arn't 100%

yeah i took them both out, re-did all wiring, and they sound great now. thanks.. bein a rah tard on my part. but really surprised how solid and non-leaking my box is lol definitely see myself building more in the future.

thank

kyle

hellz yea bro, no worryz... Just try not to swet $hit... most problems are usually traced back to a simple install error. Happens to everyone. Kinda hard not to get too psyched and screw up sumthing here and there lol
