UPDATE!!! Got the sub installed and all the wiring were I need it, just waitin on the amp to arrive to wrap this up. I took out my backseat and found that I have room to put the amp on the back of the box, which is awesome cuz now I got a ton more trunk space. The only problem is that the cover panel was a little tight in one of the corners and I busted it putting it in. It was raining and I was in a hurry, now I just caused more problems by rushing and now I have to make another panel. Oh well, now I can make one that fits a little better around the port and the left side. I also used a can of Great Stuff on my trunklid, worked out excellent, I just sprayed it between the two layers of sheet metal and I think it is going to help a lot of the rattles.

That shows how close this damn thing is to fitting, gotta take off the trunk latch and seal for it to slide in and out, almost worse than my box for my 18.

That's exactly what I want to do with my 2, 12" Assassin's. Right now they're in 1.25 cubes each, sealed and I just want them louder. I love the clean look of the front panel. Did you just do a cardboard template and then jigsaw it?

Is the Great Stuff a mess to work with? I really need something between the sheet metal on my trunk lid, it rattles a ton.

Its pretty messy, not too horrible though, just have some paper towel and rubber gloves. Yeah I used a cardboard template and jigsawed most of it. The next step is gonna be some raamat to go over that, probably in a week or two.

Nothing yet, too broke to buy anything lol. I planned on gettin a nice sq sub, with a decent amp to run it, then running a set of poly's off whatever amp I could find for them, but that all kinda fell apart when I bought a Merlin MD2 lol. Ill just have to wait a little longer until I get the cash together.

Got the amp installed today and wow!!! I'm extremely impressed with this, I may mess around with a couple other box designs and see what I can do but it sounds so crisp and clean, and damn this thing gets low. Excellent sound quality and it still gets as loud as I would ever want it to. Heres a pic and a little vid we shot.
