for starters tony im glad you got it reconed. the shop smd had it reconed at used silicone to glue the spider down for some silly reason. haveing never done a recone in my entire life i boldy seperated the cone and spider, cleaned it up as best as i possibly could, and reconed it with the old cone. and for a first time recone, im glad to say it worked and sounded good in my car. but overall it was pretty shasty looking....

i still love your 4hp though, hopefully that sub rocks out for you like this one did to me. man i love this 4hp, its like ear ***. hits amazing on every note all the way down to about 27 or 28Hz...kills the lows, absolutely bliss around 30-40Hz. aboice 45-50 it gets really loud and still sounds decent. then 60 Hz and above it's just silly loud. cant wait to make an SPL box for it and make some nice numbers with a well built box. with the low tuned box thats nearly falling apart it still dominates. god i love this sub. cant wait to get my new titanium cone and metallica blue basket. it'll be the redfinition of sexy. i just cant get enough of this 4hp

as far as that drill goes....all i can say is smooth move eXlax, gotta watch out for that shit, ESPECIALLY with a fresh recone...****it man.
