fi q 15 inch

polk momo 6.5 front components

polk momo 4x6 plates in the rear

total pushing around 1200 watts

I have a yellow top and big 3 done with 0 gauge wire.

Lights are still dimming like hell, whats a second batt that should fix my problem? Im looking to go as cheap as I can.

What kind of car and alt? Those are really needed to help you much more.

Its a 99 silverado115 amp alt
Look for a 200A alt and get a better front battery. You should be able to fit a Group 31 battery up there with a little modifying. Pick the one below that you get the best deal on.

Kinetik HC2400

Deka 9A31

Stinger/Odyssey 2150

XS D3100

Ok thanks. Does any 200 amp alternator work? Or are there generic brands that I should avoid?
Depends on how long you plan on owning the car. If you are looking for a quality alt, I would highly recommend Ohio Gen or DC Power. If you are looking for a cheaper alt that might not be top of the line, but do OK for a while, look for a local alt rebuild shop near you. They should be able to rebuild your stock alt.

check db electrical they have great prices and they stand behind their warranty. they also sell on ebay as well as their own site. several ppl on Team Maxxsonics have them. and they are a bit cheaper than alot of crap ones out there.

I would upgrade the big3 1st and have ur electrical system tested. we just did a 2600 watt system on a stock electrical in a 2002 silverado and it has 0 problems and all we did was the big 3 with standard 4 guage. the only battery in the vehicle is a shuriken bt80 and 2 runs of 4 guage to the amps distro block.

especially have that optima checked out the last 2 yrs they have had a huge return rate on them, our shop no longer sells them due to return issues.
