pm'd DJ about shipping to HI and never got a pm back, I suppose he either isn't intrested in shipping to HI or since they're not available yet didn't bother getting back to me... I'd like to try them when they become available, probably a pair of 10"s or single 12"... straight from DJ himself.. date Aug 9th 6:55a.m.

John the DD G motor sub weighs right at 50 pounds total weight...the same weight as the new HDC3. The actual designs of the motors are totally diff. The only thing they share is the DD 12 spoke basket.

The standard HDC3 will come with all the extras included; custom made 8 layer aluminum FW coil, increased cooling, beveled pole piece, 6 spiders, lead wires laminated between the spiders, direct connect, DD 12 spoke basket and stiched/glued surround to new high strength cone. The sub will also be offered in a "build-it-yourself" kit

The subs are being produced now. As soon as I can get a container load made they will ship to the USA. I can't give an exact release date yet but shouldn't be too much longer.

As far as box sizes and tuning goes the subs are designed for the same boxes and tuning we now use.
