New Audioque Subwoofer (HDC3) PICS

Im glad you guys admit the offshore materials purchasing. There are alot of other brands that claim the "Designed in america" marketing scheme in order to suggest american parts. Which is kinda silly when they have chinese 12 spokes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Anyways, the sub looks pretty solid DJ.
Now if you guys only sold cheaper recones for 9918's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
But wait, Toyota gets to claim 'made in america' just because they assemble all those japanese parts in south carolina or tennessee. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif If all the american's driving around in foreign cars can justify it that way, why cant audio companies? (im not sure if I should laugh, or consider that really sad)

You'll get no argument here. Its down right disgusting. I recently got in a sub from lets just say an un-named manufacturer, and it said "made in america" on it when I KNOW the parts were made in china. Marketing at its best....er....worst? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Hell I remember a time when Lanzar was actually made in america, I guess im showing my age with that one. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Hey guys,

Just letting you know I picked up a couple of the prototypes yesterday and will be building a couple test boxes for them this weekend. It works out good this way since I live about 10 miles from AQ, and DJ can check out the results for himself first hand. I have a rather large pile of subs on hand to compare to.

I don't know that I am going to post any results, considering that these are prototypes instead of production models. If you think about it, it doesn't really make sense to post results based on the subs I have, considering there are likely to be a few differences between these and the production models. I know of one thing right of the bat (logo, LOL). Anyways, I'd hate to lead someone in the wrong direction because I posted results of a sub that wasn't an actual production model. I more or less just wanted to let you know that if these subs are awesome or ****, I'm gonna let DJ know about it.

I'm looking forward to the results. I'm very interested in buying one when they come out:)

There is a Federal Law regarding how much of a product must be made in America before you can claim "made in the USA" . There is also a requirement for how much of the product is assembled in the USA before you can claim "assembled in the USA. We abide by both requirements.

Since i just sold my SX today, i will b now purchasing a new 15" HDC3 when they are released. DJ i have to give u credit for being a stand up guy and actually caring about the customers and our opinions...Bravo.

This should be fun! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

We? Who are you?
And clearly, that requirement is too low. Im confident most people would be surprised how little actual labor of building a Toyota from scratch is done in the USA.

Did you know a city in Japan named to "Usa"? I wonder where their products are stamped "made in"...
