I wanna see pics of the sub without the magnet boot. I read that they were triple stacks and that's **** sexy.

I remember him saying that they may offer kits with whatever made parts you want shipped to you to assemble at a reduced price.

Also, I've run into problems with the newer HD3 parts (12 spoke). With the original 4 spoke parts, I have never bottomed the sub out in over a years use. However, I recently got it reconed after it blew with the newer 12 spoke parts and it bottoms out easily, IMO. Both subs were in the same box (4.5 @ 40hz). Just wondering if this will still be present in the new HDC3's.

but on a fair comparison, if both had 8 spiders, the newer basket will be more likely to bottom out or fail? that kinda sucks the newer baskets look good but im more of the 4 spoke guy.

I should correct your question to if both had 6 spiders, yes the newer basket would cause bottoming out, the original HD3's came with 6 spiders with that being said I have heard and seen them bottoming out on the new baskets including DD's when doing streetbeat as for higher tone burps they were fine. Given the extra 2 spiders stiffened the suspension enough to where they wouldnt bottom out during streetbeat or on music. I think this was the case of changing baskets which added the extra throw, I could be wrong but that is my assumption from what ive seen and played with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

no, actually I gained a bit after being broken in, plus I added resin to the cone because I couldnt keep the cone from seperating at the neck joint because of the power im giving them, resin did the trick but added some wieght so its a tradeoff I guess. Just curious to see what happens when the spider really gets broken in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Id like to try 4 spiders next season see what kind of difference that makes on a burp of 54 hz.

Here is an email DJ sent me:

These subs have round wire copper 2 ohm coils and are optimized for sound quality (softer suspension) This cone is much stronger then the HD3 cone. We have not been able to fold the HDC3 cone.
