NEW Audioque SD 2.5 15's from China. Still a nice woofer?

guess I might be buying another amp if I want to push a bit more power to them than rated.

The txa is 1000rms @ 13.5volts I think, dont know what that would work out to @ 14.5volts, but do you guys think they might be able to take a bit more than that? Like possible 800rms?

Cadence has a deal on those AH7 amps, I think there 1400rms mono

The SD2.5s are still built in the USA. The HD series was outsourced to China which is why they're now the HDC series.

2.5s are built in china now to..thats what he just got a shipment in on..

uhh... just use one amp, and wire the subs to 1 ohm, and give the pair 1000w.... because they're rated for 500 apiece.

I know there rated for 500, but in the vids on youtube some people were saying they were running them daily (but the old SD model) on 1200rms, one vid even had a burp of 2000 or 2500 on a 12"

I was just curious if he heavily underrated them and it would be worth my while, since Im a bass head, to give them ALOT more, but I dont want them to break, i want this to be safe power. There ging to be in a big ported box with a 34-36hz tune

One guy above me said 800rms, whyd u choose that number? would I see a LARGE spl increase?
