New Android Tablet non-HU setup HELP

Hello,

I have googled for days and have had no definitive success for an answer or maybe I just can't seem to google properly.

I am going to gut my double-DIN and mount a 7" android tablet (custom homemade mounting and software), raamat, 4ch amp and 4x 6.5" door speakers (alpine). As far as installing the stereo and its components, I have no issues except for one: tablet 3.5mm output voltage. As I plan to not have a HU at all, I'm not sure how to get the voltage to a proper readable level for the amp to get the most out of it. Any suggestions would be VASTLY appreciated and thank you in advance.

On to google I go. What is this 'Line Driver' you speak of? I am very very far from an expert by any means. I just so happen to be a DIY person with a little experience and patience.

*EDIT*

Ok so I did some googling and that looks exactly like something I would need and is very inexpensive! This forum http://www.caraudio.com/forums/general-discussion/137226-line-driver-what.html helped put some stuff in perspective but didn't have my situation exactly. I'm guessing I will still need this fancy line driver so I don't have to adjust the gain so drastically on my amp.
