Hi all.
I just joined this site today, so hello to everyone reading this.. I wish I would have discovered this place sooner. This is what I have and what I am wanting. I just need help in determining what the best possible speaker/amp combo i will need.
What i have are 2 JL AUDIO 10's. In a 2004 Chevy crew Cab Silverado. I have a custom box made for behind the seat.
They are JL 10w1v2.4 speakers. 50-300 watts rms, peaks at 600.
I have infinity reference front and rear door speakers. Front are componets and rear are coaxial. I have kenwood ddx6019 running as the headunit.
I have the JBLcs60.4 amp currently running the front door speakers and my one sub. I just ordered another JL 10.
Here is my plan. I am going to take the 4 channel JBL amp and run all 4 door speakers. Then I am needing an amp to run my 2 subs. This is where i need help.
I need a good amp that isnt too too expensive but a good quality amp.. I need to know what the max wattage needs to be? I am assuming a 600 watt amp will push these just fine.. since each 10 is 50-300 watts power.
I have a friend that suggested the soundstream stealh amp. I know they make a 560 watt amp i believe. ANyone have any experience with these?
I am really a Fosgate fan, but I am open to anything... So YOU ALL know.. I am not going for the bass and hard hitting thump. I mostly listen to rock and want a crisp clean hit with mids and highs with a good hit on the bass.
ANY OPINIONS? Please help!!!!!
