new amp

Im new to the forum and just getting back into car audio. I wanted to beef up my little commuter car with a headunit, amp, and sub. I started a topic on my subs in the subwoofer area. Ive had tons of different size and brand amps from 1998-2004. Ive been out of it for a while. some of the others are PPI, Kicker, RF, orion reds, JL audio, MTX etc. basically the main brands that are out there. When looking for this new set up i noticed there are plenty of amps that ive never heard of before. Lots of them have good reviews.

Anyway, the amp that i decided to go with starting out is the PPI 1000.1 monoblock amp. I have 4ga power wire running this thing. Any input be it negative or positive i would like to read it. I finalized everthing last night and went for a test ride out of the subdivision to see how it sounded. Either ive been with out it for so long or its just a good set up that i have. I paid 159.00 for the amp new.

Ppi is still a solid company I think the older stuff was a little better, but then again whose isn't.

Just Looking For peoples personal Experiences With These. If I Decide To Upgrade, What Would Be Considered A Good Improvement. My Lights Dim Significantly With This Current Set Up. Its In A Suzuki Forenza.

Well first offset a big 3 kit it will help The phantom amps are supposed to be ok but sounds like its a bit power hungry for a 1000 watts

It's 0 gauge wiring that's added to the alt to battery. Battery to frame and battery to block It's to halo the electrical run more efficient. Remember to add never remove existing I have the kits ready to bolt on They are easy to install on most crass as well
