new amp

[luap 10+ year member]

Can anyone suggest a half way decent 4 channel amp for less than $100. I don't need a lot of power, just enough to play music slightly loud without distortion.

Here's a possibility. It's over-rated, but I think you could expect a solid 50x4 out of it. It'll cost ya $110 shipped, but it's going to be tough to do much better with that budget.

Check ebay for Profile and Farenheit. Im currently using a 4 ch 940w Farenheit that I got off of ebay for about $90 brand new no warrenty. Here is a pic of mine:

That's the one you linked to?? I'm looking at that on another website and the boards don't look anything alike.

Oh, wait, the site I'm looking at is using a generic pic for the whole Farenheit line. Good looking board though.

Here is a different view of it next to a Farenheit CLX940-2. These are the amps that I am currently using to power my system. Got the both for under $250 on ebay. Yes I think you are correct, all the adds on ebay seem to show the same pic reguardless of model.

The 730 is 75x4 and 120x4 - online price ~210

The 940 - is 220 and 340 - online price ~270

Here is a 730 on ebay for $100. The sell is the same guy I bought 3 Farenheit amps from. All brand new.
