New amp, should I?

OK, I have been back and forth with decisions lately. I have finally gotten my setup to sound very close to what I was looking for. I have a 97 4runner, 2 JBL GTO1004D 10's (250 watts RMS, 4 ohm DVC) powered by an old school Fosgate 360a2 amp. Would going to an amp that would put out 500 watts instead of 400 benefit me? Thanks.

I dont think it would make that big of a difference, especially if it pushes your subs good already.

I am new at this, so I dont really know the definition of good. I think it pushes it well. My amp is rated to do 180x2@4 ohms, and it is suppose to be really underrated, so I am not sure how far away I am from the 500 watts rms. Thanks for any more input.
