I figured I'd make a new topic since I solved the other problem in the other topic: http://www.caraudio.com/forums/wiring-electrical-installation-help/498898-ground-power-wire-accidently-touched-but-werent-connected-amp.html

I got my amp to run, turns out I put the speaker wires in the wrong +/- output. But now with my Alpine MRP M1000, my subs do work, but they are working very minimally. I tried turning up the bass boost on my head unit and on the actual amp, but still nothing is making it get louder. I'm lost! Any ideas?

It was turned up a little. I just went outside, turned it halfway, it got louder, then I turned up the bass from my headunit then all of a sudden my HU shut off and my amp shut off! I tried turning my HU back on and it wont turn on! Help!

Sounds like you need to learn how to Tune....For starters i would say your subs were wired wrong.

And if everything is now off, start checking fuses.

And tune your subs with your amp before tuning anything with your HU
