new amp added ground loop whine

I recently was paid for an install with a Kenwood KAC7251 amp. It,s not really in the class of the rest of my SQ type system, but it has significantly more power than the amp I was running my sub with. The impact of the bass and the headroom are awesome...until I start the motor, and now I have a horrible high pitch whine which changes with RPM's. I assume it's a

ground loop or whatever. I tried an old radio shack ground fault isolator but it only helped a little, is there any way to completely eliminate the fault and not just cover it up? A common ground point maybe???

what type of hu is it
I just realised what an hu is duh...

I have a Kenwood exelon KDC-X915 it feeds 4.5 volts to an Audio Control

Three.1 . Last night I opened up the EQ and switched the jumper from

isolated to chassis ground, it helped but there is still whine
