New alternator?

Hey guys, so ill be running a 18" BTL setup sometime in the near future and I was wondering if I would need a new alternator for my car. I drive a 2000 Subaru Outback H4 2.5L, stock alt is about 90 amps. If I can find someone to sell me the SAZ-3000D for $400, than ill get that for an amp. Ill be getting 2 C&D Tech batteries to put in the back as well to power it. Later on ill also be getting 4 new components with an 800 watt 4 channel amp to power the components. Ill be running the amp to the same batteries as well. The C&D Techs will be pretty much the same as the Kinetik 2400's. You think I should get 1 more or would 2 be plenty.

I wont be using my car for SPL, but i do drive it daily, I wont always blast it, but sometimes I will.

Also, if you do recommend a new alt, any company you suggest?

3k+ uhhh ya your going to need a new alt. 70a per 1k is ideal. so 200-250a

I would suggest a mechman.

the thing that ***** *** is that i just changed my alt about a year or so ago, so that was like $150 for nothing. Ill check out mechman.

Hmmm... Mechman doesn't have anything for my 2000 Outback. $449 is kinda a lot, or is that a good deal?

ya it licks balz, but if you plan on doin g 3k, there is no way around it.

also your doing to need to do the Big 3.

not sure what the big 3 is but im guessing its going to be a pain

Big 3 is the first sticky in the wiring section. The pain factor depends on the car

no, stay away from universal stuff.

Like you said, it ****** that you already spent 150$ to upgrade, dont waste more money. go with something solid that will last
