New Alternator

hi just had a quick and simple question heres my new setup a lanzar 1200d 1200rms alpine 2-channel amp putting out about 200-300 watts rms and a lighting audio 4-channel putting out 200rms now my queston is will a 120amp alternator be enough for my audio and my car for daily use of do i need a higher amp alt just need a little help please?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

did that already need a new alt im runing a 1500-1800rms system my voltage dropes like crazy!

Depends on what size alt you have now. If you have like a 90a that extra 30a isn't going to do much for you. 1800 watts draws 125a. Look into a 180-200a alt.

what if i just run a 1400rms system and call it a day what alt amp rating do you think will be best thanks alot people
