Well im definatly going to be ordering my new alternator for my 97 Explorer in a week or so.. I plan on getting about a 150 amp replacement for my stock unit. Do I just bolt this mofo in or do I have to change anything else to my electrical system? I have 1/0 gauge wire going to my amps so Im thinkin I may need thicker wire from the alternator to my battery? A dif battery? Thanks!

Is it possible to run 4 or 0 gauge wire from the alternator to the battery? I kind of want to do that so i keep everything conssitent wiring wise under the hood...

Engine to chassis ground? I know ill use 1/0 gauge for the battery ground and for the alternator because ive heard its actually more important to have enough room for current to ground as it is for current from the positive. Does anyone know where the alternator and or battery ground to on the chassis? Will it be easy to run 1/0 gauge there? Anyone know where I can buy some more 1/0 guage wire over the internet (im out of negative) Thanks!
