New 15" L7 amp setup question

I just got a Kicker 15" L7 with a dual 4 ohm voice coil. I currently have a MA Audio 15" powered by a Crunch PZI3000.1. With the dual 4 ohms and the way its wired it should be able to handle a 2 ohm load. How do i set it up so that my amp only runs at a two ohm load? the manual states it can run at 1500 watt at 2 ohms, but does not say how to adjust it to stop it from running 3000 at 1 ohm.

also any one know where i can find a spec sheet or something on older kicker subs. I know this is not a 2008 model.
