Since you can remove the motor does this mean you can recone them? If so will kicker make some recones for them? Also what size coil do the old L7 and the new one run? Thanks

not sure about reconing or anything but they should. it would save me from chunking the whole sub if it blows.

igot the new versions on a PA3000db and they r poundin'!!!! I like the the new sound, plus they are stiffer too.

I kinda like the older basket, but the newer one has a nice look to it. Either way, both subs are kool, used to have a 04 model.

I've seen the new one in person, very impressive. You have to see it in person to appreciate the design (which I admit I didn't like at first glance on the net).

i didnt think the new design was too visually attractive but now that i have it.... i love it. i get my car back today from the shop so i will install and take pics hopefully. then 2 weeks of breaking in.
