ok so just recently our home network as been a piece of shit. when you first connect it will work fine, but then after a little bit of time you cant go to any webpages or anything, the page will just sit there and load and then will go blank. if you switch to someone elses network everything will work perfect with no problems at all. wtf gives? ive reset both the router and modem about 983745096345 times and each time it works for a few minutes and then takes a shit. heres a screenshot to try and help

Well, its not your router if you can pick up your neighbors network. Call it into your cable company, see if they're getting traffic issues to your modem.
what he said.

i have a similar problem. mine will just disconnect then reconnect at random times for a couple seconds.

the problem was with utorrent/bearshare and roadrunners shitty *** upload speeds lol. its fixed now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yes a lot of ISP's limit traffic on ports used by most torrent programs. this is what you need to do. set the torrent client to listen on port that are unassigned any port # between 16362-16366 should be sufficient. statically assign a lan address to your router. then go into your router and create a port forwarding. to the port # you assigned in your torrent client.. to the lan ip address on that computer. clean, free, unlimited traffic you can pull using torrents.

Is that Peerguardian2 you got running there? If so, make sure https are not being blocked. I actually have the same issue sometimes as well.

furthermore to elaborate. it is not roadrunners upload speeds you are having problems with, its the fact they limit the traffic on that port using the torrents. with your torrents being wide open you are bottlenecking your network. do what i just described, then see what your max upload speed is. go back into your torrent client, and set about 40-50% of your max upload. you should be able to browse etc while running torrents. that should help too. again any questions pm me

downloading pr0n and illegal music from torrent sites, maybe your ISP is shutting you down.
