I zip tie them to existing brake and fuel lines so if something catches it rips them off

If there's tubeage like people said the best way to get rid of it is to use 90* metal, fit it along the side, and tac it to the frame (then put some sealer on the welds). Might not work well if you'r car's lowered, but otherwise it gets the job done.
