Neon lighting....

you can use a car neon light...it plugs right into the ligher.

or you can get a inverter...which goes into the ligher and can hold up to 2 things at once...usually pretty cheap to buy, about 20 bucks.

yea just hardwire them,i did, i would recommend running a wire w/ inline fuse directly off your battery and tapping into that... and i would add a switch to turm the neons off i necessary

I ran a dedicated 8awg power line (w/25A fuse) from the battery to a switch located by my shifter:

I use that to power three black light neons (adding another soon), located under the seats and under the dash. I mainly just use it for showing off the car, and with power coming directly from the battery with no ignition cutoff, you have to remember to turn it off every time you turn the car off or you'll run the battery down.

True, 8 guage is bigger than needed, but I didn't have anything else handy that was long enough, and I have a tendency to go overboard with stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I got a positive 12V lead out of my relay, which also controls the amp's remote wires... of course, it goes to a switch first, and THEN to the neon...
