Advice on whole system WHIR

Head UnitPioneer DEH-4200UB CD Receiver with OEL Display and USB iPod Control

I think i made a big mistake bought the 6x5 when i ideally needed 6x8 does this make a huge diffrence?

NOW I NEED HELP WITH THE AMPS AND SUB ADVICE PLEASE HELP BUT ALL I WANT IS PIONNER IM PICKY AND HATE CROSSING BRANDS THANKS

well prepare to get extremely pissed because there are not many brands that make all the things necessary in a car audio setup. and even if they do make those things doesn't mean its good.

try and return the speakers and get the 6x8 (sure it isn't 6x9?) if you can. if not you're gonna need to make some adapters for them. to be honest, i would return everything but the HU and start from scratch. impulse buying when you don't know what you're doing is just going to lead to a disaster

just look on pio's site and see what matches up with what you already have as far as 4 chan. then pick what ever subs you want to run and get an amp to match.

not much choice since your going all pio.

and as kangroo said. since your trying to stick with one brand you may get the best choice of some things. but for the most part your going to have to settle on less than what you really need.

ok going to be real with you you need to return everthing forget pioneer and try sundown audioque dc audio cactus soundz or some other spl proven company if you want to compete hard loud and proud

Yea i'm not trying to turn my system into a $10000 system I enjoy music and all but I'm not about to drop crazy amounts of money on audio just want a decent slapper ya Digg. And Im not starting over everything has already been installed and it sounds good to me so im happy but If its not possible to do all pioneer then how about some suggestions for a regular amp mono d amp and two 12 subs that will work with my current setup.

I would stay away from Pioneer subs and amps myself. You can get more bang for your buck from many other companies such as DC Audio, SSA, or Sundown Audio, just to name a few. Depending on how much space you want to use 2 10s or 2 12s should fit very nicely in that trunk, a single sub setup would work fine as well depending on your needs.

front door speakers will be fine - you need an adapter plate anyway.

Pioneer probably only has one sub amp in your budget, and one set of subs in your budget. just figure out what you can afford, and you've narrowed it down.

don't forget the amp wiring kit and enclosure!
