Ok so my friend is looking for a system. Hes lookin to only spend 500 though:/ . Its going in a honda accord. he needs an amp,sub(s), and a H/U & wires. What sounds goood and gets loud for 500 no kickers,sony though.Thanks.

You fail. Kicker would get loud for that price if done right. Don't be part of the ignorance, run some of the better stuff before you spout stuff like this.

Im not saying Kicker is bad. Where I live everyone has Kickers and sonys, so thats why he said no Kickers or sonys.

what year Accord. that makes all the difference.

Powerbass. amp and sub, all reasonable. ASA 400.1x with one S-124D or two S-124 subs (build a box for $50).

SonicElectroniX is an authorized dealer. they sell wiring kits also.

add to that an entry level Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X395 head unit so you get highpass crossovers for the speakers with front USB and AUX.

Used is a great option. the Classifieds here have a ton of gear you could use to piece together a system. hell, i'm selling Kenwood eXcelon amps, speakers, and subs right now for half your budget.
