what model??

sounds like a dual 2 ohm which can only be wired 1ohm or 4 if by it's self if you have two then .5 or 2 ohm

haha apparently i cant read. So is that asa 600.1 a good amp? That will do 600 cleanly? Not overheating and stuff all the time too?

is good but that 500.1 is regulated to 10.4 amps

so no matter what you voltage is it gives 500

the powerbass asa 600.1 specs are

300x1 4ohm

600x1 2ohm

their amps are great if your want to push them hard i haven't heard of them getting hot even on two 15s and their specs are normally underated a little bit. so yea it should push your speakers fine.

most amps get their #'s from 14.4 volt test

some use 12 but most use 14.4

yea i would go with this amp. well i am going to buy this amp. the specs on this amp are great and variable ohm rating is great that way if you switch subs you can still run this amp no wasted money.

the asa is great the only thing i would watch for with this amp is headlight dimming but that is with almost all amps. but yea if i could get away with 2 ohms this would be my first choice. the last price i got on one of these was 160 if i remember right.

What does the size of the subs have to do with the amp getting hot?
