i have two powerbass L10d's and i don't know what amp to get for them or the wattage to put to them. they're rated at 350 wrms and 700w max. they're dual four ohm voicecoils which give me the option of 1 ohm, 4 ohm, and two 2 ohm loads. what amp would you get? can you put max wattage to these subs continouslly or should i underpower them a bit. they go in a 99 silverado regular cab and sound great on very little power so i want more to make them sound amazing the box for them is 1.25cuft at 35hz with two 3x10aeroports. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bevis says eehhh eehhh fire fire eehheeghhh

why do you want to over power them soo much

if rms is 350 why go to 600 or even 500 each??

nah the will pound for a while and prob sound ok but you will be shortening their life span tremendously

i'm kinda new at this. well i'm great at the install parts but puting the sytem together is kinda new to me and the dealer recommended a 1600watt amp with the gain turned down. personally i don't trust the dealer thats why i came here. the amp he recommended for the system was a

powerbass asa800.2x

200x2@4ohm

400x2@2ohm

800x1@4ohm

beleive it or not that's paired pretty well

wire the subs seperate at 2 ohms each and that amp should be giving them 400 a piece

little over 350 but tune them properly and should be good

(p.s. i do not like PB but if it works why knock it )

i personally like the subs mostly because i built the boxes and they sound bad *** but i don't really want a powerbass amp just something similar in power but better in sq. i was looking into a crunch 700.2 but a mono block class d would be easier on my alternater since its only 105 amps soon to be replaced but still i want efficeincy of a class d
