haven't u seen this somewhere

"All sales are final and there is no dealing on the price"

besides op original post?

usually on all clearance items stores no longer want.. as in CC but yet they are going out of business

Or if he gets Goobs permission, which I highly doubt he will.
Especially since goob pops in here maybe once a month. Highly doubt he will be around before the mod squad gets hold of this.

OP, I would PM Johnny Drama or Randy Savage, who I believe are the new co-admins if you want to keep this thread up. Not trying to be a dick, but you have to follow the rules. Hopefully MOT doesn't get here first because he will ban you for sure. I would hate to see that happen.

so you got the pics from your work but your not a dealer.

right....

He gets the gear *Through* the Dealership.

Thanks Ray, but you wouldn't recognize the place anymore since it is redone. I sold my company to a dealership, who in turn under a contract till Dec 1 of 2008 I am his employee, I was just an entity of the whole collection. Nov 31, was the day that all the gear became my own personal gear. Part of the contracts that we had set up 2 years ago... The reason the gear is still there, is that I can have it shipped from there, from the shipping dept, I am not lugging it back to my house, and plus I am there 18 hours a day...

This is my gear... i hope that clarifies it up. And Damon the parts manager, is more than happy to help out, he is a co-worker

Hello Jim/

Well,I wish you the *Best in Your Endeavors*/:D .I'm sure the Place looks nice, now as you said, but didn't look shabby when we were there...lol.

Sorry to hear 'bout the *Long*work hours..My God/:( !!!!!!!!!/:wow:.

Any *Family Time*?...seriously? Well...If I don't get back to you...

Hope You and Your Family have a *Very Merry Christmas and a Safe/Happy/Healthy & Prosperous New~2009/:veryhapp:*.

Take Care,Jim.

Best Regards/

Raymond

It doesn't matter how good of a guy you think he is, where he works, what he pays for with his salary, or where else he has sold stuff. The problem we have/had with him is twofold.

1. He comes onto this forum as a new guy and puts the burden of finding information about his products on his potential customers. That's not how we do it around here, especially with new guys. The only people who vouch for him are a few guys who hardly ever come around here and nobody really knows. I mean I have more refs myself than everybody who vouched for him combined. The fact that a couple unknown members know the guy personally is no reason to not be cautious and does not exempt him from the normal order of business on this forum.

2. There was a very good chance that the OP was a dealer, based on the nature of his post (mass item FS thread) and the way he tried to get people to verify his legitimacy (company website). Dealer sales violate forum rules unless authorized by the admins. Now that he has stated outright that these are his own personal items, this really is null and void, but it was nevertheless a legitimate source of concern. Had he structured the thread properly, disclosed the appropriate information, and followed the general practices of the forum, this problem never would have come up.

All your stuff for sale is pretty much over the cost I could get it for on E-Bay.

The W505 I got for $599 at my local audio shop.

The S431 I got for $84 at my local audio shop.

I won't even mention the rest.

Good luck though.

Thanks for the well wishes sooperfly, it is going pretty steady, I expect 80% of it to be gone by the end of the week, and can live with the other 20% taking it's time. Just need to unload the bulk of it. Is that the same shop that went out of business in your other post? I can see why

Yo, not everything is a conspiracy... and I could understand explaining what each item actually is... that is if I was listing it on a JoAnn fabrics website. Seriously it is a car audio forum, we all know what Alpine, JL, Rockford, etc are. I haven't seen anyone blatantly object over a topic that doesn't concern them. Or that isn't a moderator and is their job to enforce. Is this affecting your lifestyle somehow?

There are over sixty thousand members on this site. With all that traffic, we have a lot of scammers coming through here. If you want to sell something here, it is YOUR responsibility to make potential buyers feel at ease. That includes providing information about your products, providing as much proof as reasonably possible that the items are in your possession, and helping make the buying experience as easy as possible. Not providing pics and making people hunt around some random website is no way to inspire confidence.

This is how our forum works. I have been on several forums that would lock your thread for not posting pics/descriptions of all your items. These are all reasonable expectations that apply to anyone who tries to sell stuff here. You are not above these expectations because you have a lot of stuff for sale or because you're a good guy. Nobody is singling you out here, this is just the way we do business on this site. If you don't like it, then leave. The forum will be no poorer without you.

And by the way, this does concern me. I came into this thread because I am looking to buy an HU for my little sister for Christmas. But I refuse to deal with someone who has so little regard for his customers and has no respect for the ways of our forum. Would it have taken less time to go to your website and look around than to sit in this thread and type all this up? Of course, but it's the principle of the thing.
