Need to upgrade entry cdt comps.

I have the entry level cdt components 6.5 K-61 and although they have nice clear highs they lack midbass . I Need a set of 6.5 comps with 1' tweeter that have good midbass/highs and are under $150 shipped. Or is there anything I could do to make my cdt comps get better midbass ? I have them in the stock location and stock baffles.

Ideally, kick panels would be your best bet. If thats not feasable, wood baffles, sound deaden the hell out your door, including around the edges of the baffle to eliminate the possibility of any front and rear waves colliding. You should notice a nice improvement with these few things done.
