The Sony XM-502X amplifier is an older model from last year's (1998) line of equipment. It's looks and features is the predecessor to the xPlod line of equipment. This amplifier is more configurable than their other older equipment as it has separate gain/bass boost/crossover controls for each of it's two channels. It is capable of delivering 50W x 2, and 200W x 1 RMS. It is sufficient to drive a small set of coaxials or a small sub (8").
