k i decided to only have front components in my car..and take out my co-axial at the rear...here's the thing..the car originally didnt come with rear speakers...so my brother cut holes in it..(so stupid)..so he can put speakers in there...now the car is mine...and im stick with two holes in the back...what should i do to cover this up? the reason im taking out the rears is because my sub rattles the speakers and its not on securely..every time i try to get it secure it losens up...

thanks...

me personally i would just leave the holes open so it would act as a port from your trunk. As long as it is not visible i would leave the rears empt as they are (unless you care about people in your rearseat). As far as HOW to cover it, im not sure but i know SOMEONE has some ideas on this forum.

nah dude dont buy that . . is there a deck cover back there or what can you post a pic of the rear deck ? I would say get some screen door screen and lay that out over the hole then put the grills down over that . . or any kinda dark mesh that will blank the bad cutout and then put the grills on over it. . .but leave the holes open so the air from the subs can come through like a port as mentioned above.

k i was gonna get those things cuz theres two layers of where the hole was cut...the cloth, and some cardboard part...and then the metal..so i need something with depth to cover it up....i need something like a round port..

so i was going to get those things on the link and try to cut a hole to make it ported..

or is there such thing as 6.5 round ports that i can just put in..like the ones in the box...

u guys lost me yet

i took pics so u guys know what im talking about..i also included grile ill be using

just buy some all black metal grills big enough to cover the holes.

if you don't want to use grills then

remove the whole panel, remove the old cutup stained carpet and replace it with carpet of choice. use some spray on glue "cant recommend a brand but home depot employers might" cut out a large enough piece of carpet to get like 5" overlap under the board glue it and call it a day.

go to walmart and get some of the trunk replacement carpet or any type of carpet or some type of nice fabric and cover the entire rear deck with it. cutting out where the holes are and rapping the carpet or fabric down through the holes nice and tight and everything should look allnice shinny and new. .. .

I would still put some mesh under the deck between the metal and the cardboard.
