I currently have 4 Jl audio 6.5 in car speakers that can handle about 50 watts rms. I am looking for a amp to power them, any suggestions? I want a good quality amp, but do not want to get something overpriced. I have looked at an old kicker 350 amp that will put 65 rms to the speakers, but aren't to familar with their amps. Also, I will be getting a 12 in sub with probably 600 watts rms and need something to power it. I was thinking maybe an re se, ia li, ba g5, or something along these lines, but again would like to get a good value amp. In regards to the amp for the sub, if I did choose the re se, would a 500 watt amp be good for that or should I go to 600. I have always been under the impression not to overpower them to which could cause damage to subs. Thanks in advance for any replies.

What is your budget?

Also, having a power amplifier that produces more RMS power than your subwoofer can handle isn't a bad thing, as long as the amplifier is set up and tuned properly.
