Need some suggestions for an audio set up

I have an '03 2 Door Honda Accord EX V6 Coupe. I want a bumpin' sound system. The kind of bass that can be felt outside of the car and sounds crystal clear inside the car or out. It doesn't need to thump loud so that you can hear me 2 blocks away but maybe 50 feet. Know what I mean?

Any suggestions for an audio setup that fits my wants? BTW, I mostly listen to Rap, R&B and Reggae... the 3 R's.

My supervisor wants to sell me a 10" Kicker L7 for $200, is that too much? He's also saying I need a powerful amp for it to maximize it's potential, like a 1000w amp. I'd really appreciate your audio set up suggestions. Thanks.

l7 would be good for the music you listen to ... but you can get louder and clearer for cheaper ... whats your price just for the subs and amp

L7 will do good if you build the right box and have the right kind of power. $200 seems on the high side though. I sold my old L7 10" for $120 and I helped him install it.

Just talked to my supervisor, he said he'll give me the 10' L7 AND the box he has with it for $200, is that a good deal?

How are L7's when it comes to SQL?
