Need some recommendations on components

So I got 2 DC XL 12's in the mail comin by tuesday or wednesday, but im deadset on replacing my stock front and rear stage before I buy a box for the subs (would build the box myself but I want it done correctly this time with a kerfed port).

Goal: Be loud, audible and clear, with really nice midbass because I listen to alot of metal (I love me a sick bassdrop)

Stock locations are 6.5s up front and 6x9s in the back.

Prefer not spend more than say 200 per set of speakers. Ive read that ID CTX65CS sound good and DD makes good midbass speakers. But ive heard none of these in person and dont know how they would sound mixed together.

This by all means is not an all out SQ build and I want to fill the back with speakers too because I feel like i'll be missing something behind me without them. And because it wont exactly sound right to people sitting in the backseat.

So I need them recommendations people, first time replacing stock speakers:nerd:

Since you're in SD, you might want to hear a bunch of different sets in person and let your ears decide. Check out as many shops as you can find that have different brands/models. Some speakers sound very scratchy and harsh to my ears that other people like. I tend to go for softer sounding speakers that don't sound too bright but are still clear and have definition. I heard a set of MB Quarts that I liked better than a set of Focals....It also is highly dependent on the install + tuning how it will ultimately sound.
