Need some help.

Ok. I'm in need of some new front and rear speakers. But I'm NOT looking into spending 2-$300. I have a 200w amp, that I would like to set up to any new speakers.

But I was wondering, I'm looking for 6x9's and the front door speakers. What should I get? For a decent price?

I'm not looking for Bose speakers here just something decent since my stock ones sound like a$$.

And also, should these speakers be wired just like a subwoofer would? Never wired regular car speakers.

The first setup I ever did I bought kenwood 6x9's and kenwood 6.5" for the doors. I was really happy with them for my first setup. Just don't by some brand that you have never heard of and I think you'll be happy because it doesn't sound like you're too too serious about your setup. Also, as for wiring them, it's easy. Just + to + and - to -, from the headunit. Piece of cake

Granted, these won't get you car shaking bass, but they should be a good upgrade from your stock speakers. If you want some power behind it, get a smaller sub. Have fun with your setup.

I read everywhere that my doors are 6.5". So what are they? And whatever size they are, will any speaker that's 6.5", fit? Or do I need to order a set that fits my car?

Also, do I wire the amp right to the back of the cd player?

well, you should check whatever 6.5" speaker for mounting depth. usually isn't even a problem, but i have also seen some housing monsterous magnets behind them. try to pick some that match, or are only a little more then the rms of your amp.
