ok heres the deal... i drive a 2001 nissan tsuru (its a foreign car, but its exactly the same as a 94 sentra) ive tried sdeadening my trunk lid but nothing works, unless i go and spend a stupid amout of cash on a LOT of dynamat, 2 or 3 layers (money wich i dont have cuz im a studen)the trunk lid is way too thin... any of u drive the same car as i do?

besides that, now i found out that my rear 6x9 speaker grills keep jumpin out of place when i turn the volume up. im 99% sure its my subs fault. how do u deal with this? place my 6x9s in a box? sdeaden the speaker baskets? i dont want to glue the grills.

i think thats about it, i hope my bmw back at home doesnt have the same problem if i upgrade my system.

thanx guys

what kind of subs do you have in that little car?...

LOL

i have a 12" 300rms "db drive" sub in a 1.5 cu.ft sealed box. with a rf 400s amp... givin it around 400watts... maybe too much for my "little car" uh?

besides isnt the geo a hatchbak? regular trunks are a pain for rattlin

All of my trunk seams are sealed with poly urathene seam-sealer. It has about 70sq.' of B-Quiet sound deadening. (100sq.' for ~$100...B-Quiet.com.) I also added about 40sq.' of foam padding; layering and stuffing all panels. Result....no rattles....except for the exhaust....maybe I should get rid of that too.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
