Need some help

Hey guys i recently installed a new head unit, amp, and sub in my truck and ive been having sort of a weird problem with it. When i was driving home today all of the speakers went out but the sub continued to play, and then shortly after the speakers started working again. I thought nothing of it seeing as it only happened for a second or so. Well it happened again as i was driving home from my friends house later about 3-4 times. And every time i turned the volume up the speakers would start working again. My first thought was that i might have done the wiring poorly because the sub was still working but why would the volume make the speakers start working again? the deck is a pioneer 6700mp, the amp is a mtx 200 watt and the sub is the mtx rt10. if anyone could help me or give me some info on why its doing this id really appreciate it.

check ALL your wiring (power ground rca speaker) there may be a loose connection somewhere where the slightest jolt will cause the speakers to work/not work
