Need some help.please

I got a 2000 Model Ford Ranger with the 2 full doors and then the half doors. And i was wondering what would sound good in it. I'v been looking at the Alpine SWE-1242

12" 4-ohm subwoofer Would 2 of those be good? Or should i spend a little more for something else? Also whats a good amp for this. Should i order from Crutchfield or from a dealer in my town. Im also thinking about getting a Alpine In dash reciever.

if i were you i would hang out around here for a little while, read through alot of the threads and listen to what people have to say about certain equipment. you could go to the product review section and read pros and cons on certain stuff. but i would shop around, check out our classified section too, you can get great stuff for great prices from there

my friend has 1 15 dd and 3000rms goin to it in a ford ranger. Very nice set up and it all fits behind his 2 front seats, hes hitting around a 150 now.

Well i'v been looking around on The classified section and found a Kicker 15" Sub and a 15" Alpine Type R. do think these would fit behind the seat (Im takin back seats out). Think this would be good. How big of an amp would i need to power these things.

^^^ i would do something like that, that looks like a great setup in minimal space. you can change the subs to whatever you want and the amp, but i would stay with a box like that.

I am actually getting ready to do an upgrade as soon as I get my new work truck. I am going to either do four FI BTL 15s, or three FI BTL 18s. I havent made up my mind as far as which I want yet.

I was thinking hard on the 4 15s

Since mine would be 2 diffrent brands would it make a diffrence in sound quality.
