need some help on a battery

well since i upgraded my amp i had to get rid of my cap becuase it wont take 1/0 wire and my lights dim bad so i was thinking of getting a yellow top battery as my main or would it just be best to get a hc 800 for the back which would work out best for me

how much power? what is the stock electrical? what condition is the stock electrical? is the battery in it now i good condition? a kinetik 800 is good for about 800-1000 watts of support

well the battery i have is just a reg battery my alt is 110 (stock)and its a new alt,the battery is good but i dont think its not enough power, and i think i would at least need 2000watts what battery should i get then?

in a kinetik 2000 watts would need a 1800-2000. there are alot of variables in that that could raise or lower what i recomended as well.listening habits and amp loads ......and more stuff. personally 2000 watts true rms is real boarder line to be running on 110 amp alt unless you are willing to keep it turned down at times. the model number of a kinetik is the watt range it is good for support . alot of battery companies dont offer any even estimated model for a set up and some people end up going too small. your electrical set up has 2 parts an alt and a battery some people go off just the alt some off just the battery. for a true solid electrical system you should do both

well i just want a temp fix would the extra kinetik be better than just a yellow top?

for a daily set up i would use a kinetik but also depends on size. i go off of capacity (ah's) both are usable however i just never had any luck with optimas.
