Need some help finding some subs

Im looking to buy 2 12inch subs but just dont have an idea were to start. Im thinking my budget is going to be around 300 dollars. Idc what kind they are just that they sound good. If anyone will help me i would be appreciated.

are you looking to buy used or new? what amp or how much power total do you think you want to run?

idc if the subs are used or not, and idc if howo much power of an amp is needed. Im gonna get the amp based off on the subs. i have been kinda looking at the alpine type r ones. Im just wondering if there are some better for around the same price.

If you get the Type Rs for under $130 new you wont find a better deal. IF you want loud subs

well i was wondering if there are better i can get for maybe a little. more right now i have a single 10 alpine type r just sitting at home since im to lazy to make a box so i was gonna run 2 12s and 2 10s all at 4 ohm. Do you know about adding electrical upgrades? Big 3, HO alternator, extra batteries. Depending on vehicle on how much they can handle stock. Normally around 1500 rms. Some more some less.

Also how big of a box can you fit, 10s need much less space then 12s

i have a 2001 honda civic ex. im pretty sure if i make the box my self i can fit it in my trunk. Thats about all i know so maybe i should wait on adding 2 more 12's and get the first 2. Right now im just looking for 2 12s i can buy.

I dont think so but I'm no expect. maybe 4 10s if you could build the box in the trunk. But with a civic make room for some batteries or a big one if you go over 1200 watts and do the big 3 for sure

Go with the Rs they wont let you down. If you want a SQ set up look elsewhere

I say go with one good 12 instead of 2 decent 12's.

well i kinda like the sundown audio i have compared those to the r's and alot of people say they can be louder then the rs and sound clearer.
