Equipment I own:
Pioneer PRS-D2200T Amplifier
Pioneer Premier PRS-D2200T 2-channel car amplifier 150 watts RMS x 2 at Crutchfield Signature
Pioneer TS-W1008D2 Subwoofer
Pioneer Premier TS-W1008D2 Champion Series 10" subwoofer with dual 2-ohm voice coils at Crutchfield Signature
Alright so I recently wanted to add some deeper bass to my car. So I got an amplifier and a subwoofer. The amplifier listed is a 2-channel amplifier rated 300watts rms per channel at 2 0hms. But also does 150 watts rms at 4ohms I only have one subwoofer. My subwoofer is rated at 350 watts. If I only hook up one channel to my pioneer amplifier will be completely missing sound since I am only using one channel? My subwoofer would not handle the channels being bridged would it? Or is there some way to turn down the power so it won't exceed 350 watts.
What is coming to my mind is i should probably just buy another subwoofer.
Any advice would be appreciated.
