Need some advice on using Diamond HEX S6.0mx3 in my system

Hey all,

Does anyone know how the cross-over for the Diamond HEX S6.0mx3 works? Is it high-pass, low-pass, or band-pass? I'm thinking of using these for mid-bass as well as mids to compliment a pair of Boston Acoustics S35 (3.5") speakers I'll be adding soon (to replace my dash speakers). Any opinions on whether or not these would be up to the task? I don't know if I should try to go with coaxials in the doors or if it would be better to have the Boston Acoustics as the only highs in the front. Would the Diamond HEX S6.0mx3 be able to play high enough that I wouldn't have a frequency gap between them and the Boston Acoustics?

Thanks,

Ryan

Small speakers in the dash usually don't sound very good. I would recommend a component set in the doors, and disconnecting the dash speakers. Just because there is an OEM hole for a speaker does not mean it's the best location... and speaker placement is more important than the speakers themselves.
