I bought four treo ssi 10.44 Sub woofers as is warranty from a brick and mortar store locally.Three where brand new in the box one was in different box opened and looked used.I asked the guy if it works properly he said yes no issues.issues. Im getting a good deal 100 Dollars per woofer.The guy was cool to talk to new his stuff.
I built the box yesterday and let it sit over night to cure.Installed the subs wired correctly. Checked out my ohms to make sure i was at 2 ohms.ohms. Im at 2.6 ohms.ohms. Hm that's odd so i looked over the wiring again and started to read the voice coils for 4 ohms. First two solid 4 ohms third one was that used one.Read one side 4 ohms other nothing dead the terminal for the wiring isn't the same as the other side.The fourth one was a good 4 ohms.
So my question to you guys is what should i do???I understand a as is warranty but a used defective product that i was lied to about it working correctly is another story.My way of thinking is a warranty is if it brakes down the road or in a couple of days nothing you can do about it.
