Need recommendations on 1000 rms woofers :)

Ok im looking for a 1000 rms woofer 12" dual 4 ohms, Im actually thinking of getting the alpine type x but i start to hear that people easly blow them, so i was wondering if you guys have any experience with these subs or know subs that sound better than the type x and wont blow easly. My second choise would be t3 audio, I dont know if anyone heard of them but aperantly they got some nice subs too. Any feedback would be great, oh and i will be powering the subs with a hifonics brutus bxi 2008d at 1ohms.

My budget is 600-800$ just for the subs and box, and no i dont have tools or know how to built a box

i'd got with 2 12" Fi Qs in a box built for 4.5 cubes net tuned to 32hz.

If you want to wire it to the amp at 1ohm, then you are looking for a dual 2ohm speaker. If you are using 2 subs, then you'd be looking for a dual 4 ohm.

I have 2 10" alpine type x subs and they where paired with two arc audio ks1000.1v1, each where doing 1000@2ohm with no problems. Very good sound quality. Ive had them hooked up for 6months now.

OP before you start looking into buying a fancy sub i'd make sure you can get a custom box made for you first. you can put a really nice sub in a junk box and it will sound terrible. what are your goals for how it should sound? are you concerned with getting lower, or more of destroying the 35-40hz range? learning towards sound quality, or loudness?

i like the way the type r's sound in the ****** box i got, and im looking for something more towards SQ and just a little of spl, lows are a big plus to me

Incriminator Audio flatlyne, I got a 12" and it has very good sound quality, I highly suggest researching it. It is rated for 750rms daily, but can take atleast 1000-1200 daily.

i vote this.. but im not sure if that hifonics puts out 2000 rms in which case sundown sa-12's are probably good.. and i also wouldn't mind trying ssa icons myself

although ive never heard them haha
